I did, and I was completely caught off guard. My estrogen tanked so drastically so rapidly I felt like I was going through menopause and not in a very graceful way- so much for the new mom glow I was hoping for!

This simple affirmation has helped me so much this past year as I constantly caught myself worrying about being judged by other moms and how I was doing compared to my peers. All that matters is: am I parenting based on my values? If the answer is yes, who cares if my child goes to school in her pajamas or watches a movie on her tablet so I can get much needed down time!
